What are the necklaces made of?
Each necklace starts with a scarf chosen for its color, print and personality. Our scarves come in three fabrics: 100% mulberry silk, a silk blend (45% silk, 55% polyester), and polyester. You'll find the exact material listed on every product page. Every necklace is finished with our signature heart pendant in 18k gold-plated or 925 sterling silver-plated brass, with a few special styles in other colors.

What's the difference between the silk and silk-blend necklaces?
Mulberry silk has a soft, luxurious feel and a natural sheen. The silk blend is a little sturdier, and it's a great way to start (or grow) your collection. Both are hand-tied and finished the same way.

How long are the necklaces?
Sizes of our scarves (untied) are provided on each product page along with the material composition. On average, our "smalls" are 36 inches long, and our 100% mulberry silk can be as long as 47 inches. 

How do I wear it?
Any way you want! Tie it in a knot at the front, a bow at the side, or let the ends hang long. Pair it with a white tee, a crisp button-down or a favorite dress, and consider the outfit finished.

How do I care for my necklace?
If needed, gently hand wash the scarf in cool water. A splash of white vinegar in the rinse helps preserve the color. Hang or lay flat to dry, and use a cool iron if needed. Do not bleach or tumble dry. To keep your pendant looking its best, store your necklace away from moisture and put it on after perfume and lotion.

Why is each necklace named after someone?
It's Just Jess began with a gift for her cousin-in-law. Every necklace is named after a real friend or customer and comes with a short story about the woman behind the name. (Okay, there are a few who we WANT to be friends with too, like Princess Catherine. One can dream!). We hope it helps you find the one that feels like you, or like someone you love.

Will a sold-out necklace come back?
Some favorites return, and others are made only in small quantities. The best way to hear about restocks and new styles first is to subscribe to our newsletter and/or follow us on Instagram @itsjustjess_westu.

Do you offer gift wrapping or gift notes?
Yes! If you are shipping directly to the gift recipient, you can add a personalized note during the checkout process. We'll make sure to include it with your order!

How long does shipping take?
Orders ship within 1–3 business days, and most arrive within 2–5 business days after that. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. We currently ship within the United States only. For orders over $100, we provide free shipping! Please see our Shipping Policy for more details.

Can I pick up my order if I live in Houston?
For those based in the 77005 zip code, you can choose local pick-up. Otherwise, we will ship your necklace(s) to you! 

What is your return policy?
Unworn necklaces in their original condition can be returned within 14 days of delivery. See our Returns & Refunds policy for details.

My order arrived damaged. What should I do?
We're so sorry! Email us at jess@its-just-jess.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll make it right.
